And remember, while you're on a team, you're really just submitting for that team, what you make for the entry is up to you and is not necessarily restricted to a single "theme" other than draw that cute bunny with or without others! Edit 04-08-15: Happy Wednesday after Easter! As far as I see it though, Easter is still on till the 17th! Candy Grabbers now in the lead with 1521 points as entries trickle in! And remember, entries can pretty much be whatever you like with the bunny, whatever team you're on the context of the entry doesn't change too much, could just be something simple and cute of the bunny by herself for those not sure of having too much time. Also great job on all the entries so far!

Edit 04-05-15: HAPPY EASTER! Today's the last day to submit for EXTRA points! After that the final deadline is April 17th! The Point System has been activated for submissions so far! And now each entry will have points updated as I see them come in with a unique formula! So far Choco Saviors is in the lead with one submitter so far! Hello everyone and welcome to my 2015 Easter Contest! Since this is the 10th anniversary of my bunny sona's existence this is a special contest! But before anything else, let's look at what you get if you win or participate!

valid for one item she has available in her commission info. You can also use this request coupon for one FREE adoptable species from her, customizable according to her guidelines. She has offered this as a prize (thanks so much!).

Or a request from me for either a drawing, something written, a small flash animation, or a small flash game such as a dress up!

Intro

Now to the good stuff. This year, we will have a return of TEAMS! It will be Team Choco Saviors vs Team Candy Grabbers! The winning team as mentioned above will be drawn in a large picture cuz - hey - you won! The team member with the most points on either team will be the ones getting the 1st and 2nd place prizes though! So the goal: to get first place, help your team win and be the best in your team!

Team Objectives

Team Choco Saviors

Your job is a tough one, but also fun! Spend time with Bunny-Logi and protect her from laying more eggs than she needed! She gets embarrassed if a candy name is called in public forcing her to lay an egg. You don't want to make the bunny sad, do you?

You will be responsible for helping her hide the eggs she already prepared for the year for others to find in a big Easter Egg hunt and protecting her from Team Candy Grabbers! Without you, there may not even be a hunt (think of the children!). Pretty sure just being around her will keep her safe, right? As a reward for protecting her, because you care about her so much, she'll let you take as many eggs as you want from her secret stash after Easter!

You can keep her safe by drawing her by Ambunny's side while she is hiding eggs! Having their best bunny friend Fluffie-bun help by their side will get you more points, and even more if you decide to include a cute character/fursona of your own! You can also just draw her by herself in her cuteness too!

Team Candy Grabbers

Secret stash? Pff, you can't wait till Easter, after Easter, or even another second! You want free unlimited candy RIGHT NOW, and you don't want to waste your time looking for the candy you want by searching through some random eggs! No, maybe you act like her friend, help her hide eggs, but if she's caught off guard - BAM! "Chocolate, skittles, I want some bubblegum too - oh, and cotton candy, you can do that right?" Hey, that's what's she's for! Giving you the candy you want when you want it.

It's your goal to keep her away from Team Choco Saviors so you can get that little one on one time to stash up on the specific candies you want. Remember though, you still gotta be nice or Ambunny might show up and give you some trouble.  If you're extra nice though, she might even help you in your plan 'cause she loves chocolate too! What, Ambunny's supposed to be on Team Choco Saviors? Oh, she never said she was on that team, she just likes being close to her bunny. Having their bunny friend Fluffie-bun there to capture her is a bonus, especially if you add your own character in the mix to lead the plan! Or you could just show that bunny how she cute she is in a simple drawing... admiring what will be taken later for candy!

Rules and Guidelines

So you've picked your team and have an idea of your goal, right? Awesome! Now it's time to enter! Comment below with the team you would like to join and your icon will be displayed below with that team. After each submission, Ambunny and myself will use a special formula to calculate how many points that submission has earned based on creativity, effort, accuracy to characters, and overall cuteness. You can submit a few submissions if you like or just one, but let's make it clear that we will be looking at effort and dropping a few rushed sketches, oh, we will notice and take that into account here! Those who show lots of effort may win extra prizes!

Keep in mind that once you choose a team, you can't switch teams! This is to protect Team Members that have worked hard already for their team, lets be fair here! The only exception is Ambunny, who we all know is actually on her own team and can work for both teams. (Though, no worries, she won't be able to earn points for teams). Also, picking one side or the other isn't going to earn any favor, so please pay attention to how many are on each team. It would be nice if they can be balanced a bit please, so IF there is a severe imbalance, some team members CAN join the other side if they haven't submitted yet. owo

You can make a digital or traditional drawing, comic, animation, or whatever you see fit for the contest for your team!  Effort, originality, and awareness of past themes in this type of contest can really get you far! Just comment in this journal when you've made your submission! Thanks to DA's Mention feature, placing my icon in the description will help me find it faster too!

Now, for extra hints on what can get your more points: Adding Ambunny will get you a lot of points if she's added! Draw her very well next to my bunny and you're talkin' lots of points. Not satisfied with lots of points? Get even MORE points by adding our bunny friend Fluffie-bun to the mix! References can be found in their galleries, but if they make new refs I'll post them here for you to use. Cool egg designs are also a plus!

You can also get points by adding your fursona and, probably the most important, Advertising my contest and getting others to enter. If someone says they entered because you brought up this contest, not only will you get extra points but they will too! So make a journal or a poll and you'll get bonus participation points.

WOW, IT'S SO EASY TO EARN POINTS! Yeah, I know right!? Note though that the points received from Advertising the contest and getting others to join will be added after the contest ends, and that's to protect you and other entries.

But wait, there is a way to LOSE points... And that is distasteful content, being rude to others (opposite teams here yes, but this is meant to be fun), portraying other team members in an insulting way if you choose to add them (by the way, more points there if you add other contestants), copy and pasting, tracing, and not paying attention to my bunnies details after my pretty reference was made. But seriously, don't do that and do all the other stuff, and LOTS of points.

Like I said, you can comment here or use DA's mention feature to help me find your submission! Please include the link to this journal in your description, what team you're on and who you've included in the drawing. You can actually submit multiple times, which you may want to depending on what the other team submits!

The Main Deadline is EASTER! That's April 5th, 2015. You can submit before then or on that day and you're able to get the most points!

The Extended Deadline is April 17th (my birthday actually!). You don't necessarily lose points so much as submitting between now and Easter will get you MORE points (BONUS EASTER POINTS). But who knows, if you want Team Members to call some kind of truce cause you want to wish the bunny a happy birthday closer to that day, well, that could get you extra too~

The now SUPER EXTENDED Deadline ends at the end of April (April 30th)! You won't lose any points if you submit by then either, I realize some contestants proooobably need more time. So there you go!
